Miller Insulation is committed to an Incident – Free Workplace and
to the promotion of safety and health to all personnel. This is accomplished
with a committed management team and Safety Department. Our in-house Training
Department has an extensive training program including all OSHA required
construction and general industry regulations.
It is the responsibility of all supervisory personnel to instill a
positive attitude and safety awareness in their subordinates. Safety excellence
is a continual process and commitment to achieve a world class safety culture.
Miller Insulation has received numerous safety awards on both the local and
national levels. Miller Insulation has achieved a Platinum Level status on the
Associated Builders and Contractors STEP Program. Company information and safety
data can be obtained from the following safety auditing companies: ISNet, PEC,
PIC, Browz, and the North Dakota Safety Council.
An OSHA incident rate well below industry average coupled with
superior workmanship and on-time delivery places Miller Insulation as a
preferred contractor with a variety of firms. Miller Insulation has employees
trained in OSHA 10 Hr, PEC Landsafe, and MSHA to meet the requirements of the
construction, oil and gas, and mining industries.

David has held the position of Safety Director since 2002. He
has managed the safety program and training requirements for the Industrial ,
Oilfield, Commercial and Residential divisions and is an OSHA outreach trainer
for both Construction and General Industry.
David started employment with Miller Insulation in 1972, the year
his father, Don Miller, formed the company. He worked in residential, commercial
and oilfield divisions while attending college. He is a graduate of NDSCS and
NDSU and holds an A.A S. in Civil Engineering and B.S. in Agricultural
Mechanization. Upon graduation he managed the family farm and ranch operations.
David had several jobs in Sales and Management before returning to Miller
Insulation in 2002. |
